TMJ (Temporomandibular joint) is the clinical name for the jaw. Pain and discomfort can be caused by a variety of problems; including teeth grinding, orthodontic braces, dental work and osteoarthritis.  A TMJ dysfunction can lead to headaches, earache, neck pain, difficulty chewing and ringing in the ears.
